Ideal Home Show Scotland 2025, sponsored by EcoFlow, returned to Glasgow’s SEC this May, transforming four days into a vibrant celebration of home inspiration, shopping, and entertainment.
The show opened in spectacular style as Corporal Cruachan IV led a lively parade alongside the Renfrewshire Schools’ Pipe Band, before crowds explored highlights including a decommissioned tank at the Erskine Veterans stand.
Visitors embraced new zones like the Spring Clean Pavilion, Pets Corner, and Beauty Alley, while creative spirits unleashed their talents in hands-on workshops with Create & Craft, from candle painting to vision boards.
The much-loved Dream Home wowed attendees with beautifully curated spaces by Sofology, Mango Kitchens, Bollo Store, Fisher Direct and Arnold Clark – inspiring visitors to recreate the look in their own homes… and enhance their driveways.
Big names drew enthusiastic crowds as celebrity guests including Laura Hamilton of A Place In the Sun and My Property Abroad, the judges of BBC’s Scotland’s Home of the Year – Banjo Beale, Anna Campbell Jones, and Danny Campbell – shared expert advice, alongside British potter Keith Brymer Jones, who returned to delight fans with his trademark passion.
A sweet celebration marked Glasgow’s 850th birthday, as the famous Cake Competition showcased stunning bakes inspired by the city’s rich history. Judging the entries were Go Radio’s Gina McKie, Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren, and chef Jak O’Donnell.
The show also proudly supported the STV Appeal, helping children affected by poverty across Scotland. Visitors cheered on STV presenters Sean Batty and Laura Boyd as they joined a fun live noodles cook-off on stage, judged by chef Jimmy Lee and lent their voices to promote the cause.
Over at the Eat & Drink Festival, food lovers sampled artisan treats and street food while watching live cooking demonstrations on the Eat & Drink Stage, where celebrity chefs including Jimmy Lee, Jak O’Donnell, Sarah Rankin and Kaori Simpson-Hara wowed audiences with their delicious dishes and culinary tips.
With record visitor engagement, inspiring features, and thousands of products under one roof, Ideal Home Show Scotland cemented its reputation as the Scotland’s biggest and best-loved home event.
