The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Account Manager to work across Ideal Home Show Spring with a proven track record in exhibitions. You will have a keen eye for Home Interest brands and thrive from being a brand ambassador and having a key role in its growth, as we strive forward with our digital transformation.
What is expected of you:
- Pitch and sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages and digital / social channel products under the Ideal Home Show umbrella brand.
- Ensuring individual sales targets are achieved
- Managing your weekly and monthly pipeline and forecasts
- Manage KPI’s and monthly expectations
- Contribute to weekly sales meetings. Client updates, floorplan management, pipelines and forecasts
- Developing and growing the existing client base and spend
- Actively and intelligently seek new business opportunities through competitor events, social channels and B2B platforms
- Ensuring all new business is account managed correctly
- Adequately create and present client proposals where necessary
- Ensuring the “quality of client” is kept at the highest achievable level and matched to all shows and products
- Managing clients before, during, and after the show(s)
- Become a vital member of the division, working closely with colleagues and contributing to ideas and pitches
- Always represent Media 10 in a professional manner, internally and externally
Internal relations
- Communicate with the whole team working in the portfolio; show management, stand sales, sponsorship, marketing, and feature teams
- Liaise with the operations team ensuring the smooth running of the exhibition during build up, during the event, and break down
- Communicate with credit control to ensure all contracts are fully paid prior to the event
- Communicate with the production team who will deliver the deals that you secure
Administration
- Ensure accurate and responsible admin for all bookings
- Ensure that the in-house database and CRM is up to date with contacts and comments
General
- Support other team members as and when required and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the role and the company.
- Engage fully in training, development and workshops
- Be present at all Media 10 events that you work on, irrespective of the fact they overlap into a weekend
