It connects architects, designers, specifiers, contractors, and fabricators with top-tier suppliers. With the sector on the rise, the show is fast becoming a key destination for the built environment and design communities.

As our Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of the Stone & Surfaces Show. You’ll lead the charge in building strong relationships, closing high-value deals, and uncovering growth opportunities — all while ensuring every exhibitor receives exceptional service and attention.
Key responsibilities
- Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and digital offerings to both new prospects and returning clients.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with revenue goals and broader event objectives.
- Proactively generate a robust sales pipeline through industry research, trend analysis, and outbound outreach.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships that span multiple event cycles, supporting retention and loyalty.
- Represent the show at key industry events, networking functions, and face-to-face meetings, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Event Director, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to inform strategic planning.
- Champion the show’s growth and help position it as a must-attend event within the construction and design industries.
Success metrics (KPIs)
- Achievement of or overperformance against revenue targets.
- Year-on-year growth in exhibitor retention and client lifetime value.
- A steady and growing pipeline of qualified leads.
- Acquisition of strategic partners and high-profile sponsors.
- Positive feedback and strong satisfaction levels from exhibitors and stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a commercially astute, proactive, and personable sales professional who thrives in a high-energy, target-driven environment. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, media, or a related commercial environment.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and securing high-value deals.
- Familiarity with — or the ability to quickly understand — the construction, interiors, or architectural sectors.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A highly collaborative mindset combined with a self-starter attitude.
- Strong time management and organisational capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Prior exposure to the interiors, architecture, or construction sectors is advantageous but not essential.
