The Digital Publishing Department maintains both the online editorial and the commercial content for Good Homes and Grand Designs, and offers creative content solutions and partnerships to brands that align with our own.
Grand Designs and Good Homes are popular home interest digital publications, featuring content across web, social media, and e-newsletters.
With a history spanning over 25 years, Good Homes celebrates all things home and interiors, providing homeowners with inspiration for every room, as well as the latest shopping must-haves.
Grand Designs connects with an affluent home renovation audience, offering users expert advice on architecture, design, construction and interiors ideas, as well as partnering with the Grand Designs Live show.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Digital Sales and Partnerships Executive with a strong background in website and digital media sales, particularly focused on native advertising, sponsored content, partnerships, and affiliate revenue channels.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing and managing strategic partnerships, building a strong sales pipeline, and nurturing relationships with both existing and new clients for our digital publishing brands.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and possess a keen understanding of digital advertising trends, monetisation strategies, and affiliate marketing. This role combines sales and relationship management expertise with a deep understanding of digital media, to deliver value to clients and drive our brands’ growth.
What is expected of you
- Develop a deep understanding of our publishing brands and their editorial pillars on each platform, including the commercial offering and benefits of each.
- Discover and cultivate partnership opportunities and manage existing partnerships to drive growth and revenue.
- Ensure sales targets (personal and product) are achieved or exceeded.
- Maximise revenue through native advertising, partnerships, and affiliate channels.
- Identify new business opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and close sales with a wide range of partners, including brands and agencies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key advertisers, brands, and potential partners to drive revenue growth through website-based sales, sponsored content, affiliate marketing and partnerships.
- Commercially driven, experience working to targets and KPIs
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Research industry best practices to continually improve our offerings in native advertising, affiliate partnerships, and other revenue channels.
What you can bring to the table
- Track Record: A strategic and proactive thinker and planner. Past experience with delivering successful digital revenue and cultivating successful partnerships.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital advertising concepts, including CPM, CPC, CPA, and affiliate marketing models.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A professional networker. An existing network of industry contacts within digital media, brands, or agencies is a plus.
