Media 10 launched Design Shanghai in 2014, establishing it as Asia’s premier international design event. Over five years, the show attracted over 70,000 visitors annually and featured more than 400 global brands, becoming a landmark in the region’s design calendar. In 2019, Media 10 sold Design Shanghai and its sister event, Design China Beijing, to Clarion Events. The sale marked the company’s first major divestment and highlighted its success in creating world-class exhibitions in international markets.
