The Stone & Surfaces Show is the UK’s premier event dedicated to the stone, ceramics, and surface materials industries. It connects architects, designers, fabricators, and suppliers to celebrate innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship in the built environment.

This role also covers Stone Specialist, the UK’s leading trade website for the natural stone industry, and Stone Bulletin, the sector’s key digital newsletter. Together, these brands form the core of Media 10’s Stone & Surfaces portfolio, connecting the industry year-round through news, features, and insights.

Role overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and communications strategy for the Stone & Surfaces Show, Stone Specialist, and Stone Bulletin.

This is a unique role combining event marketing, digital content management, and audience growth. You will be responsible for driving visitor and exhibitor engagement for the show while developing the reach and influence of the associated media brands across all platforms.

Key responsibilities
Marketing strategy and campaigns
• Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies for the Stone & Surfaces Show, Stone Specialist, and Stone Bulletin.
• Plan, manage, and execute multi-channel campaigns to achieve visitor, exhibitor, subscriber, and revenue targets.
• Work closely with the sales and content teams to ensure alignment between event, digital, and editorial objectives.

Event marketing
• Manage the full marketing mix (digital, print, PR, social, partnerships, and email) to promote the show.
• Create impactful visitor acquisition and exhibitor lead-generation campaigns.
• Oversee event branding, onsite marketing materials, and campaign creative.

Digital media and content marketing
• Manage the Stone Specialist website: content planning, audience engagement, and traffic growth.
• Oversee the Stone Bulletin newsletter: scheduling, content coordination, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure consistent messaging and tone across platforms.
• Use SEO and analytics tools to drive web visibility and optimise performance.

Partnerships and communications
• Build relationships with media partners, trade associations, and sponsors to enhance visibility and reach.
• Oversee PR and communications to position the portfolio as the voice of the industry.
• Manage external agencies, suppliers, and freelancers where required.

Performance and reporting
• Monitor and report on marketing KPIs across all channels.
• Use analytics to evaluate campaign success and inform future strategy.
• Maintain marketing budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Skills and experience
• 4+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally within exhibitions, publishing, or trade media.
• Proven ability to deliver integrated campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
• Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and email engagement strategies.
• Excellent project management, copywriting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce).
• Confident analysing campaign data and presenting actionable insights.

This role is 3 days per week initially, with the potential future opportunity to being full time
